I Sing Praise
Paul Springer

1. I sing prais-es to the king,
I sing praise for ev-'ry-thing,
I sing prais-es to the Lamb,
And sing to the Great I AM.

[Chorus] Sing-ing prais-es to my Lord
With my heart, with ev-'ry word,
Bring-ing glo-ry to His name,
I will nev-er be the same.

2. Sing-ing prais-es to Je-sus,
Wor-ship time I will not rush,
Though the world wants me to hush,
I'll praise Him and nev-er blush.

3. I sing a-bout Him each day,
As I walk a-long the way.
If when tri-als get me down,
I'll still sing, and will not frown.

4. I'll keep sing-ing 'til I die,
Wait to meet Him in the sky.
When I reach that peace-ful shore,
I'll sing praise for ev-er-more!

NOTES: This song is about the joy of worship and my commitment
to worship God. One day I'll get to worship Him forever.
Also, that there is a big connection between my worship
and my life.

The meter for this is 7.7.7.7 which can be sung to several
tunes, but the words dictate "Here We are but Straying
Pilgrims", or "Hark the Harold Angels Sing".
I had a mental block on this song for about a year,
but I finally made it work.
