I Have Sinned
Paul Springer

1. Lord, I come be-fore you to con-fess: I have sinned.
Just like Dav-id cried to you, "I have sinned",
I have sinned, I have sinned!
Lord, I come be-fore you to con-fess: I have sinned.

2. Lord I bow and hum-bly ask that you, please for-give.
Cry-ing Pet-er's bit-ter tears, please for-give.
Please for-give, please for-give!
Lord I bow and hum-bly ask that you, please for-give.

3. Lord I ask that you now help me to, o-ver-come,
Spir-it in-ter-cede, help me, o-ver-come.
O-ver-come, O-ver-come!
Lord I ask that you now help me to, o-ver-come.

4. Help me walk in the light as He is: with-out sin.
Cov-ered by your grace and blood, with-out sin.
With-out sin, with-out sin!
Help me walk in the light as He is, with-out sin.

5. May I live in hea-ven where there is, no more sin.
Prais-ing you for-ev-er, with no more sin.
No more sin, no more sin!
May I live in hea-ven where there is, no more sin.

NOTES: The hardest thing to admit is sin. Yet, reading the
scriptures below we find that we all sin and are to be humble
and admit our mistakes and ask for help to overcome. We are
to also help each other. This is not an ego or a 'who is
perfect' contest, but rather people who have dedicated
themselves to God and His will, trying to live in this
present world, as perfectly as we can, with Satan tempting us.
Knowing that we do not deserve what God has done for us, nor
can we earn it. Remember, in heaven there will be no more
sin, sorrow, pain, etc... Lord, help me to be like you.
